John Bunyan's allegorical journey of the Christian life, published in two parts in 1678 and 1684. Part I follows Christian from the City of Destruction to the Celestial City. Part II follows his wife Christiana and their children making the same journey, with a richer cast of companions and more extended hospitality along the way.
