The Gospel Worthy of All Acceptation

Andrew Fuller (1754-1815)

Andrew Fuller answers the question that divided eighteenth century Particular Baptists: whether faith in Christ is the duty of everyone who hears the gospel. Writing against the hyper-Calvinism that discouraged preachers from urging sinners to believe, he defends the free offer of salvation while holding firmly to sovereign grace. The book reshaped Baptist preaching and supplied the theological foundation for the modern missionary movement that sent William Carey to India.
